Speakers:

Fr. Jozo Grbes, OFM - Was born in Rama, Bosnia-Herzegovina on March 17, 1966. As a child, his family moved to Pozega, Slavonia, where he completed his first 12 years of schooling. He joined the Franciscan Order in 1986 in Humac. Fr. Grbes studied philosophy and theology at colleges in Sarajevo, Canterbury and London, England where he graduated in 1992. He arrived in the United States on October 2, 1992 and was ordained a priest on February 7, 1993 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish in New York. He continued his pastoral studies in the same parish after his ordination while taking post-graduate courses at St. John's University where he received a Master's degree in theology. In 1996 he was transferred to St. Jerome's in Chicago as assistant pastor where he is this day. He became pastor in 2001. He is continuing his post-graduate work in pastoral theology at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.

St. Bernard of Clairvaux, located at 124th street and Shea Blvd in Scottsdale . It is rare that mid week masses centering around the rosary, Eucharist and divine mercy chaplet occur. At the advice of Father Oliver Mohan, we are taking our Parish dedication to the Divine Mercy of Jesus up one more notch with the implementation of a special Mass to be celebrated each Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM in our Church. The full devotion and liturgy will begin with: Confession and the Sacrament of Reconciliation - Wednesday evenings 6:00 to 7:00 PM Rosary 7:00 PM Divine Mercy Novena Prayers 7:l5 PM Mass of Healing 7:30 PM with Litany of St. Faustina and blessing of those in need with the Blessed Sacrament
